Fuel Supplier
Only available supplier of Jet-A1 is ‘PADMA OIL COMPANY LTD’ in Bangladesh. They only accept “World Fuel Service, United Aviation Service, Euro Asia, Hadid, Jetex, Associate Energy Group, Aviation Service Management” fuel contract or Cash in US Dollar. Also please provide us a copy of fuel advice confirmed with the Padma so that ASAP can make necessary arrangements to ensure fuel truck is available upon arrival of your aircraft.

INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS
GENERAL
- Slot is not required and not available also in all airports of Bangladesh.
- Pilots are advised to carry tow-bar on-board the aircraft as push back is mandatory at most of the airports in Bangladesh.

- HAZRAT SHAHJALAL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ICAO: VGHS / IATA: DAC)
–> VGHS is one of the largest airport of Bangladesh and 24 hours open with full CIQ. All types of handling equipment for all types of aircraft are available in this airport. VGHS is PPR airport and slot is not required.
–> Crew visa is not required if they stay for not more than 72 hours and only General Declaration serves the purpose of CIQ.
–> Fuel thru fuel nomination is available for 24 hours.
–> Frequency : TWR – 118.3 MHz, 119.3 MHz // ACC – 125.7 MHz, 129.7 MHz
–> DVOR : 112.7 MHz // NDB : 298 KHz
–> Cargo Service : There are two cargo terminal buildings for import and export facilities of cargo, namely Import Terminal and Cargo Village (export) under the ownership of CAAB. Both the terminals are managed and handled by Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd.

- SHAH AMANAT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ICAO: VGEG / IATA: CGP)
VGEG is the second largest airport of Bangladesh watch between 0001UTC to 1700UTC with full CIQ. Limited handling equipment for limited types of aircraft. VGEG is PPR airport and slot is not required.
–> Crew visa is not required if they stay for not more than 72 hours and only General Declaration serves the purpose of CIQ.
–> Fuel thru fuel nomination is available.
–> Frequency : TWR – 118.4 MHz, 119.4 MHz
–> VOR : 113.4 MHz // NDB : 287 KHz
–> Cargo Service : Limited import and export facilities of cargo under the ownership of CAAB and handled by Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd.

- OSMANI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ICAO: VGSY / IATA: ZYL)
VGSY is the third largest international airport of Bangladesh watch hours for (1) Monday – 0300 to 1500 UTC (2) Tuesday – 0000 to 1200 UTC (3) Wednesday – 0000 to 0900 and 1300 to 1500 UTC (4) Thursday – 2300 to 0001, 0300 to 0900 and 1300 to 1500 (5) Friday – 0000 to 1300 UTC (6) Saturday – 0000 to 0900 & 1300 to 1500 UTC (7) (3) Sunday – 0000 to 0900 and 1300 to 1500 UTC with limited CIQ accordingly.
–> Crew visa is not required if they stay for not more than 72 hours and only General Declaration serves the purpose of CIQ.
–> Very limited fuel facility only for domestic users. For International user highest 1800 liters can carry from VGHS/DAC subject to prior confirmation.
–> Frequency : TWR – 122.9 MHz, 122.5 MHz
–> VOR : 116.4 MHz // NDB : 372 KHz
–> Cargo Service : Very limited import and export facilities of cargo under the ownership of CAAB and handled by Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd.

SHAH AMANAT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ICAO : VGEG & IATA : CGP)
This airport is situated in the port city of Chittagong. It is the second largest airport and the alternate airport to VGHS

OSMANI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ICAO : VGSY & IATA : ZYL)
It is situated at the city of Sylhet, a district at the North-East corner of the country. It has been upgraded to an international one in order to facilitate the people of the district which is famous for a large number of residents of United Kingdom.
- Limited handling equipments.
- Refueling not available.
DOMESTIC AIRPORTS
There are seven domestic airports in Bangladesh and out of which five are operational and two abundant airport.

TWO STOL PORTS
There are also two STOL (Short Take-off and Landing) ports situated at Shamshernagar and Comilla but the service is not available now.
CIQ PROCEDURE
2.1 On arrival and departure of aircraft all passengers and crew shall present themselves personally with their baggage to Customs and make a declaration of currency on a prescribed from supplied by customs at the declaration counter on arrival. The form must be retained. On departure this form should be re-submitted to Customs showing the balance of foreign and local currency remaining in his possession.
2.2 Restriction on the movement of cash currency in and out of Bangladesh are in force.
2.3 Any unaccompanied baggage following should be notified to the Customs Officer on the appropriate form before the passenger depart from the Customs Hall.
1.1 Valid Passports are required for nationals of all countries to visit Bangladesh. Passports are not required for the holders of identity certificate, Laissez Passer issued by United Nations and its affiliated Bodies, continuous Discharge Certificate/Nullius/Seaman Book (Travelling on duty to join or repatriate from ship) issued by any country recognized by Bangladesh.
1.2 Visas are required for all countries except the nationals of following countries:-
Bhutan, Barbados, Cyprus, Fiji, New Zealand, Western Samoa, Canada, Singapore, Tonga, Leone, Lesotho, Zambia, Tanzania, Malta, Nigeria , Kenya, Somalia, Nauru, Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea , Seychelles, Trinidad and Tobago, Ghana , Sri-Lanka (Stay not exceeding one month), Ireland, Tunisia , Vatican, Gabon and Spain.
1.3 Nationals of the Yugoslavia and Japan do not require any visa if stay for not more than 3 months.
(a) No entry permit/visa will be required for a period of up to 15 days by the foreign tourist from the following countries arriving in or transiting through Bangladesh provided they hold return or onward air tickets:-
U.S.A., Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Federal Republic of Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal, Austria, Maldives, Philippines, Switzerland, U.K., Greece.
(b) Such facilities shall not, however, be extended to those persons who are blacklisted or to whom visas are not issued ordinarily under the rules.
1.4 Any Missionary/Social Worker or person(s) employed in Bangladesh, paid or unpaid, is required to obtain a visa, prior clearance for such category of foreigners are required for visiting Bangladesh.
1.5 Foreigners who are required to obtain visa for visiting Bangladesh but cannot obtain the same due to unavoidable circumstances or inadvertence are generally allowed to enter in the country for 72 hours in order to prevent hardship. In such cases foreigners will be required to obtain visa from Director, Immigration and Passport of nearest Regional Passport Offices in Bangladesh if duration of stay exceeds 72 hours.
1.6 In all cases, foreigners are required to fill up an embarkation/disembarkation-cum-health card available at the entry-point with the following additions:-
- a) For arriving passengers-intended address/addresses. For passengers leaving-last addresses.
- b) Purpose of visit.
- c) Proposed Length of stay in Bangladesh and place visited (with approximate dates).
- d) Passport Number.
- e) Place and date of issue of passport.
1.7 No registration and exit permit is required by a foreigner who visits Bangladesh. Foreigners are required to obtain road permit from the Director General, Immigration and Passports, Dhaka, if they intend to take their exit from the country by road.
1.8 Where a flight crew member on a scheduled service retains his license in his possession when disembarking, and remains at the airport where the aircraft has stopped or within the confines of the adjacent city, and departs on the same aircraft or on his next regularly scheduled flight out of Bangladesh, his crew member license or crew certificate is accepted in lieu of a passport or visa for temporary admission into Bangladesh, only if the said certificate or license is issued by a country with whom a Bilateral Agreement exists.
